Our products are made in a cottage kitchen in small batches in a village nestled not far from Crymych, West Wales using clean local spring water from the distilled alcohol from the local distillery. We never use tap water and we dont buy any mushrooms sourced from China or Eastern Europe.
The woodlands around where we live are surrounded by over 150 acres of mature woodland that is home to many wild mushroom species.
We are currently trialling the cultivation of Winecaps, Lions Mane and Shitake as well as foraging Wild TurkeyTail and Birch polypore in our woods, with the long term aim of offering fungi grown exclusively in Wales perhaps even following the seasons. Until then we source our range of mushrooms from small independant cultivators either side of the border as well as wild Chaga foraged from the Grampian Mountains in Scotland by our friend.
These mushrooms are then dehydrated and blended in house to create a range of powders and extracts which we use in our growing number of products.
