Our Story


Nestled in the heart of rural West Wales, we are fortunate to work in a place blessed with pure air and pristine water—the perfect environment for mushrooms. Our products are carefully handcrafted in a cottage kitchen near Newcastle Emlyn, Carmarthenshire, using only the finest UK grown or foraged adaptogenic and nootropic mushrooms

We insist on the purest local Preseli Mountain spring water and organic Da Mhile alcohol from a nearby distillery—never tap water—in all our high quality triple extracted tinctures. Committed to quality and transparency, we avoid sourcing mushrooms from China, Eastern Europe, or the US, where a significant proportion of public water is fluoridated.

Beyond our kitchen, we are nurturing 12.5 acres of off-grid woodland and wildflower meadows, creating a thriving habitat for wild mushrooms. We are currently experimenting with cultivating Winecaps, Lion’s Mane, Oyster, Turkey Tail, and Shiitake mushrooms, while also foraging Turkey Tail and Birch Polypore from our own woods. In 2026 our vision is to start growing all our mushrooms exclusively in Wales, following the natural rhythms of the seasons on locally sourced logs and woodchip.

In the meantime, we carefully source mushrooms from small, independent cultivators across Wales and the UK. We also collaborate with a trusted friend who sustainably forages wild Chaga from Scotland’s Grampian Mountains.
